u know what.....i don't care about a serial killer......even if do think they have to be some what smart....( a criminal genious)........i still don't think u should go around saying that they r "GREAT"..........their killers man.....u tell me what's great about em

true i suppose its not great but just the way they handled things and how they had every situation completely under control ted bundy only got caught cause he wanted to they were genious's but what they did was horrible wrong

serial killers are smarter than your average joe and we have made this clear...and I do have to admit that Bundy, son of sam, and dahmer were one the smartest...but we are leaving out one of the most vicious and one that started it all......Jack the riper....now what are your thoughts on him?? He was never found....

yours is that serial killers are smart....
mine is that they are sick......
and as for the dahmer guy i have done studies on him..and yes he was a fag but he killed women also.

DAHMER DIDN"T KILL ANY WOMEN ARGH!!!!!... and yes jack the ripper was great he was the original king of gore the way he'd send pieces of his victims to the police gotta give props to the original

tell me about it man!! He was the one that started it all!!! OMG! And evidently they all think that Dahmer killed just everyone!! WRONG>..we are the kool ones!! LOL...j/k but yea he on;y killed men....I have given websites and everytihng else but they just won't check!

Committing murder and serial killers are two totally different things.
Those who commit just murder to do it. That happens as an action or from other problems. Even though most that do commit murder, do suffer some problems from substance abuse to mental problems.
Serial Killers actually get a high out of what they do. It is a mental thing. But it is also a satifaction type thing. To see if they can do it and get away with it.
Most of the people you have mentioned as Serial Killers, yeah they were intelligent, but they were severely sick and in time, their cry for help was in where they messed up.
Just like the BTK serial killer look how long before he was caught. Yet he was caught as have been most serial killers.
But there is a huge difference, in just those who commit their first act of murder, and those who well as i said get a high off of it.
I actually seen this on a TV show about some of these men. And they described what they done as their fasicnation, with one being able to be successful, and two being able to not get caught.
But most in the end. All said it become a point, where they were worn out with all the planning and actually begin to leave clues.
What was wild. Is some had they not gotten tired. How long could they of continued? They may be intelligent but also, most have mental problems also, yet their passion and their obession drives them. And they usually have a set routine, that is where many messed up. When they had to change routines, their thinking had to change, and that is where they become frustrated and found it time to get help.
Most i think the TV show said suffered from OCD.

yes this is true and I am glad that you know your facts because so do i...I understand what you are doing and how the two are so different and I get what you are saying...it is true that they did get tired of it and they wanted to give it up but to me it is still a fascination of mine that someone can do such a thing for such a long period of time and get away with it..it just really makes you think...
